The back bones in your spine provide a supporting and protective structure, like the frame work of your house. Bones provide an attachment place for muscles and protect the delicate central nervous system. In a similar way the walls of your home protect you from otherwise exposed electrical wires. Often people associate back pain with bone problems. More often, however, the problem is due to interference of the nerves and related muscle spasms pulling the bones out of position.
How is your spinal alignment?
Have you ever dealt with a door that wouldn’t shut because the frame around it was not properly installed? Sometimes the door frame may get bent because the foundation of a house settles. Your spine works in a similar way. If the alignment is off in your spine, even by a little, it can cause your spine to move abnormally. Although you may not feel the immediate effects of spinal misalignments, they can worsen if left untreated. The same with the poorly aligned door in the example above. Sure, you can force the door closed, but eventually you will have to properly realign the door frame so it can work properly once again.
Here at Redenbaugh chiropractic we are concerned with the cause(s) of any spinal mis-alignments you may suffer from. It is our job to properly evaluate and correct spinal alignments, which can develop into misalignments. It is our job to improve the way you feel and move. Misalignments can cause nerve interference and the symptoms of nerve interference include:
- neck pain
- mid back pain
- low back pain
- digestive problems
To name a few of the many symptoms that can be related to nerve interference.
